Our team competed in the ICPC Yokohama Regional 2024 and placed 15th. We won a prize from Engineer Guild, and most importantly, this secured us a seed for the ICPC Asia Pacific Championship 2025.
The team consisted of me (overnap), Jaewon Yoo (jwpassion1), and Jaehyun Hwang (penguin1234). Thank you all for your hard work. And thank you to the regional committee for your hospitality and smooth operation.
During the contest, I solved problem E, which was a simple implementation problem, and problem I, which was a sweeping problem I was confident in. Additionally, I worked with jwpassion1 to develop a solution for problem D, and left the coding to him. Late in the contest, penguin1234 proposed a solution for problem G, but unfortunately, we couldn’t finish it in time as it was an implementation-intensive problem.
Yokohama is truly a magnificent city. It’s a joy to simply stroll through a place like this. It was even better because it was the Christmas season. I’d love to come back for a personal trip someday.
